Nadzeya Pashkevich, born in 1986 in Polesie, Belarus, is a graduate of Kobrin Art College. From 2014 to 2024, she exhibited her works extensively across Europe. Her paintings are part of collections at the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko in Kiev, the Maksim Bagdanovich Literary Museum in Minsk, and others.
Nadzeya’s art draws viewers into a unique cosmos of vivid colors and dynamic lines, crafted in an inimitable style that defines her delicate yet powerful approach to painting. Her work bridges two primary movements: figurative and non-figurative abstraction. In both, she seeks harmony through precise color combinations and geometric shapes, evoking a sense of completeness and emotional resonance. Her creations intertwine personal emotions, an acute awareness of existence's nuances, and a prophetic intuition for epochal shifts.
Her early works are poetic and vibrant, featuring intricate, weightless strokes that create an ethereal sense of motion. Within this interplay of color and form, recognizable elements emerge, such as historical and modern architecture or ancient churches of Kiev. Her later period reveals a shift toward broader, more dynamic brushstrokes and a transition from rich polychromatic schemes to more monochrome palettes.
Nadzeya’s paintings invite contemplation of the modern world's transience, immersing viewers in a realm of emotions and spiritual energy, shaped by her profound artistic sensitivity.
