RossArt is a cultural center, art gallery and event space in Zurich. Since 2018, we have conducted over 200 art exhibitions and cultural events.
At our gallery, we are dedicated to exploring the concept of sustainable development through the lens of contemporary art. We curate a diverse collection of artworks that challenge and reinterpret the idea of sustainability, showcasing innovative approaches across a wide range of styles and mediums. Our mission is to inspire dialogue and reflection on the critical importance of sustainable practices in our world, fostering a deeper understanding of how art can contribute to a more sustainable future.
RossArt is an active participant of contemporary art scene. We organise international exhibitions and promote artists and cultural projects. Gallery ownes a sophisticated collection of photography masterpieces by legendary photographers as well as young, emerging talents.
In Italian, one of Switzerland's official languages, 'Rosso' translates to 'red,' a color symbolising passion and courage. This passion for art is a boundless, transformative force that transcends the boundaries of medium and style, turning art into a universal language that speaks directly to the soul and bridges cultures and generations.
SVETLANA PURICEL, FOUNDER
Svetlana Puricel is the RossArt founder, a curator, art collector, and a specialist in sustainable development based in Switzerland since 2016.
At the Sotheby’s Institute of Art she completed her studies as an Art Gallery Manager. With a previous university degree in Natural Sciences at Saint Petersburg State University, she has defended a master’s dissertation on the role of photographic images in sustainable development at the Faculty of Science at the University of Zurich.
Since 2017, Svetlana organises contemporary art and photography exhibitions in Zurich, conducts cultural and educational events, and manages interdisciplinary projects. She has collaborated with various institutions including Kulturhaus Helferei, Photobastei, and the University of Zurich.
At exclusive events visitors are invited to taste RossArt labelled Swiss wines produced at Sion, Valais (Petite Arvine, Cornalin, Pino Noir & Merlot, as well as White, Rosé and Red blends) from the world-famous environmental-friendly winemaker Philippe Varone / Le Cellieres de Sion.
